Introduction to the Daily Devotional

Here are some frequently asked questions about the Daily Devotional.
=============================
"Where did it come from?"
It is originally created by Tyndall House publishing, from a software called "A Verse A Day". So I did not write them.

Up to recently -- each business day my friend David Wong from Rutgers University (RCCC, Rutgers Community Christian Church) young adult fellowship sent it to me. I in turn forward them to you. But now, David has asked me to take over this entire project. So daily I prepare you this email, no matter where in the world I am. ^_^

=============================
"Who else receive this?"
Since this started about 2 years ago, a lot of people have become subscribers of this list. They are my friends, relatives, church co-workers, company co-workers. The total number of recipients is about 390. However, since many people re-forward it to many other of their own friends, I am guessing that the overall number is more than 600 people.

You can't see their names because everyone is getting a bcc, "Blind Carbon Copy".

=============================
"How do I get off this list?"
If you strongly dislike reading it, or if you are not allowed to read it, please send me an email & I can stop the emails.

=============================
"When it is sent daily?"
I prepare it for you 5 days a week, excluding major holidays. I send them out no matter where in the country I am, usually around mid night of local time zone.

=============================
"Why does the Subejct sometimes contain a little star, '*'? "
That means there is a special announcement that day. Or personal sharing.

=============================
"I like it -- can I share this with someone else?"
Yes! Please feel free to forward this email to someone else, or tell me who I should add to this list. I personally find these devotionals to be a great way to share christianity with people, and to strengthen someone's existing faith. :-)
